Toddlers need a lot of love, care, encouragement, interaction and a variety of interesting activities from adults for optimal development. In the toddlers' curriculum, children participate in sensory-based learning experiences that allow them to observe, experience, and manipulate learning resources.

 

Our caregivers encourage toddlers to put their wants and needs into words. Toddlers expand their vocabulary by singing simple songs, reciting nursery rhymes and experiencing real and imaginary situations through toys, pictures and role-play. Their daily activities also include finger play, finger painting, playing with dry pasta, hair gel and shaving cream, kicking, walking and running for fine motor/gross motor skill development.

 

Toddlers' behavior management includes kind words, praise and appreciation from our staff. They are also taught to share and take turns with other children.
