The curriculum at Creative Child has been developed and implemented according to developmental guidelines for children who are 12 months through 47 months of age. The curriculum is designed as a progressive introduction of age-appropriate topics such as colors, shapes, numbers and the alphabet. The aforementioned topics are introduced on a monthly basis and reviewed throughout the school year. In addition to these themes we develop important gross and fine motor skills and the most essential value is that we encourage children to develop social interaction, creativity and self-esteem.
The Educational Supervisor provides each Lead Caregiver with a curriculum outline of monthly topics to be used as a guide in developing their lesson plans. Lead Caregivers develop age-appropriate activities for their lesson plans in order to promote the social, physical and intellectual development of the children.
